For the batter

3/4 cup maida

1/2 cup sooji

1 and 1/3 cup warm water

1/2 tin condensed milk( Amul mithai or milk maid)

Grated paneer 50 gms

pinch of salt and baking powde

r For the Sugar syrup 1 and 1/2 cup sugar 2 cups water 4 cardamoms crushed few strands of saffron oil for frying.


Mix sooji in warm water and set aside for half an hour.Add sugar to 2 cups of water and boil till one thread consistency is obtained add saffron and cardamom and keep side .Make sure to keep the sugar syrup warm to soak malpuas.Add condensed milk, maida,paneer,salt and baking powder and blend it to a smooth paste using blender.Heat tava add tablespoon of oil and pour small laddle of batter.Fry on both sides , sqeeze out excess oil and put them in sugar syrup.repeat the process till the batter is completely consumed.Serve hot.This sweet is tastier than gulabjamun and rasagulla.Tastes fantastic with rabri or sweet cream.
