Eggless Tiramisu

Eggless Tiramisu

Ingredients:

Eggless Sponge Cake – 12 pieces
Vanilla custard powder – 3 tsp
Sugar – 5 tsp
Milk – 1 cup
Coffee powder – 2 tbs
Curd – 3 tbs
Whipped cream – 3 tbs
Cocoa Powder(optional) – 2 tsp

Method:

1. Take a little cold milk and mix custard powder.
2. Heat the remaining milk in a pan and add the custard powder mixture into it. Stir continuously till it gets thicken.
3. Add sugar and stir till it dissolves. Set aside to cool.
4. Heat a cup of water and mix the coffee powder well. Set aside to cool.
5. In a bowl, add the cooled custard mixture, curd and the whipped cream. Mix it well.
How to present:

1. Take a glass bowl and place the cake pieces in the base. Pour some of the coffee decoction over it and let it soak well. Spread the custard mixture over it.
2. Then place another set of cake pieces and soak them in the remaining coffee decoction and spread the remaining custard mixture over it.
3. Put the coffee powder/cocoa powder in a small sieve and sprinkle it all over the top of the tiramisu. Keep it in the refrigerator to set for atleast 1 hour.

Serve chilled.
