Beetroot and Peas Balls

Ingredients:

Beetroot, boiled and mashed – 1 cup
Potato Boiled and mashed – 1/2 cup
Green peas boiled – 1/4 cup
All purpose flour/maida – 2 tbs
Chilli powder – 1 tbs
Sugar – 1 tsp
Salt – to taste
Oil – for deep fry
Rice flour – 2 tbs
Bread crumbs – 1/2 cup
Method:
1. Mix the mashed beetroot, potato,boiled green peas, chilli powder, sugar and salt in a bowl.
The mixture should be thick enough to roll into small balls. If the mixture seems not so thick then add 1-2tbs of all purpose flour to it and make balls.
2. Mix 2 tbs of rice flour, salt with a little water to make a thick batter.
3. Dip the balls in the flour batter and roll them in breadcrumbs.
4. Deep fry the balls in hot oil until it turns to crisp.
5. Drain on tissue paper and serve hot.
Definitely, this will be a kid’s favourite.
